The date for the next Vinexpo Hong Kong show is pushed back again, the next show will now take place in 2022 instead of 2021, according to organiser Vinexposium.

This is the third time Vinexpo Hong Kong is being rescheduled. It was originally scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 May 2020, it was then postponed to 8 to 10 July, and later postponed again to 23 to 25 February 2021, and now it’s clear that the show will not happen in 2021 at all.

Vinexposium, which was formed when Vinexpo Holdings joined with Comexposium in September, did not name a new date for Vinexpo Hong Kong 2022.

Vinexposium also announced that Vinexpo New York 2021 and Vinexpo Bordeaux 2021 will also be postponed until 2022, again no new dates have been named.

The company said Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2021, initially slated for February 2021, will take place from 14 to 16 June 2021. The event will still be held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and will feature a comprehensive range of French and international wine regions.

Vinexposium’s bulk wine event, the World Bulk Wine Exhibition, will go digital and becoming WBWE connect. The digital format will be held from 23 November to 4 December this year offering a virtual opportunity for producers and buyers to engage with each other.

The company went ahead with Vinexpo Shanghai 2020 from 21 to 23 October but only virtually. A new digital platform called Vinexposium.Connect was launched during the Shanghai show to allow trade members from around the world to interact free-of-charge.

The company is planning three days of special events on the Vinexposium.Connect platform in February 2021 “as a nod to Vinexpo New York, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris and Vinexpo Hong Kong, originally scheduled then”.

The events will be market-focused with one day dedicated to the USA, another to European markets and a third day to the markets of Asia.
