EIGHT ASIAN BARS MADE TO WORLD'S 50 BEST BARS 2022

A total of 8 bars in Asia made to the list of World's 50 Best Bars 2022 revealed yesterday, while Barcelona's Paradiso was crowned World’s Best.
Singapore’s Jigger & Pony takes the top spot in Asia at number 12, Bangkok’s BKK Social Club became second best in Asia at number 14, followed by Hong Kong’s Coa, which won top position at Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2020 and 2021, at number 17.
The other five Asian bars having made to the top 50 list are Bangkok’s new entry Tropic City at spot 24, New Delhi’s Sidecar at number 26, Hong Kong's new entry Argo in the Four Seasons Hotel at position 28, Singapore’s Manhattan at spot 33 and Tokyo’s Bar Benfiddich at number 48.
Spain has two bars in the top 3, Barcelona’s Sips was named World’s 3rd best, just after runner-up London’s Tayēr + Elementary.
Despite having handed the crown to Barcelona, New York is still leading the list with six bars in the top 50, including two in the top 10 which are Double Chicken Please at number 6 and Katana Kitten at number 9.
This year is the 14th edition of The World’s 50 Best Bars, the awards is organised by UK publisher William Reed and sponsored by French mineral water brand Perrier. The results are voted for by an academy of 650 bar industry experts, and are independently adjudicated by accountancy firm Deloitte.
