MACAU’S WYNN PALACE TO HOST ASIA’S 50 BEST BARS AWARDS CEREMONY AGAIN

Macau’s Wynn Palace will stage the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 Awards ceremony on 28 July, marking the second straight year Macau hosts the region’s most prestigious cocktail industry event.
Organised by 50 Best and sponsored by Perrier, the gala ceremony will unfold inside Wynn Palace Grand Theatre, where the official ranking of Asia’s top 50 bars and special individual honours will be unveiled live to an audience of bartenders, bar owners, beverage distributors, media and hospitality leaders across the continent.
A six-day festival programme spanning 24 to 29 July will run alongside the main ceremony in Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau.
The centrepiece “Wing Lei Bar & Friends” series brings together more than 50 celebrated mixologists and chefs from Asia, Europe and North America for guest bar shifts, collaborative cocktail dinners and industry masterclasses.
Signature official activities include the Bartenders’ Feast, media roundtables and a closing industry reception.
This year’s edition coincides with Wynn Resorts’ 20th anniversary operating in Macau. Resort beverage leaders noted the event reinforces Macau’s standing as a premium hub for Asia’s bar culture, linking Greater China hospitality operators with international craft spirits and cocktail communities.
Asia’s 50 Best Bars voting is conducted by an academy of over 300 independent industry experts.
The 2025 winner, Hong Kong’s Bar Leone, claimed the number one title for two consecutive years.
Trade participants anticipate tight competition in the 2026 rankings, with rising talent from Southeast Asia, mainland China and South Korea poised to challenge established favourites.
Industry observers say the repeat hosting deal underlines Macau’s appeal for high-end beverage trade gatherings.
With inbound leisure tourism recovering steadily, luxury integrated resorts are leveraging global bar awards to attract professional visitors and elevate local cocktail offerings.
Invitation-only access applies to the awards ceremony, while a selection of public-facing guest shift events will offer enthusiasts opportunities to sample limited-edition cocktails created by world-class bartenders throughout the week.
