5th EDITION OF CHANGI AIRPORT’S WOWS TO FEATURE 60 RARE EXPRESSIONS

Changi Airport Group has launched the fifth edition of its flagship luxury wine and spirits showcase, World of Wines & Spirits (WOWS), in partnership with Lotte Duty Free.
Under the theme “The Vault”, the event bringing together more than 60 rare expressions from over 30 prestigious global wine and spirits houses.
The invitation-only flagship gala event will take place on 16 to 17 October at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, designed as an immersive tasting experience for collectors, trade buyers, media and high-net-worth consumers.
The curated line-up features highly sought-after limited-edition single malts including releases from The Macallan, Dalmore and Fettercairn, alongside rare Cognacs, fine wines and Champagnes.
The most valuable bottle in this year’s collection carries a price tag of SGD368,200 (USD 288,190).
First launched in 2022, WOWS has grown into one of Asia’s most prominent travel-retail luxury beverage showcases.
A key feature of the 2026 programme is expanded access, selected rare bottles will be available for purchase via the WOWS online platform, opening the collection to local collectors as well as airport travellers, removing the requirement for a boarding pass.
Organisers said “The Vault” concept highlights the heritage, craftsmanship and storytelling behind each rare bottle, moving beyond simple retail to create a multi-sensory discovery journey.
The event underscores Changi Airport’s ambition to position Singapore as Asia’s leading hub for premium wine and spirits collecting and duty-free luxury retail.
Industry observers note that Asia’s demand for collectible whiskies and fine wines continues to strengthen, with Singapore emerging as a preferred storage, trading and showcase centre for high-value spirits among regional collectors.
